Overview
TrueCalc Pro is a free suite of ten everyday calculators — percentage, age, grade, tip, time, BMI, calorie, loan EMI, discount, and unit conversion — built and owned outright rather than delivered for a client. It's a flagship example of the kind of website I build: fast, accessible, and structured for search from the outset.
The brief I set myself
The goal was a genuinely useful set of tools that people would bookmark and return to, without the friction that a lot of calculator sites add: no account, no email capture, no intrusive ads blocking the tool itself, and no dependency on a third-party API that could change or go down. Every calculation needed to run entirely in the visitor's browser.
How it was built
TrueCalc Pro is vanilla HTML, CSS and JavaScript — no frameworks, no build step, and no external APIs. Each calculator shares one design system, so the ten tools look and behave consistently while staying lightweight. The site defaults to dark mode with a light-mode toggle, and a service worker gives it offline support after a first visit.
SEO built in from day one
Rather than retrofitting SEO after launch, every page shipped with full meta coverage, structured data, a sitemap, and guide content explaining how and why to use each calculator. That's the same approach I bring to client projects: search foundations agreed and built during development, not left for later.
